The content in this student training on human trafficking and online exploitation will address topics that are emotionally and intellectually challenging. For this reason, the Combating Trafficking in Persons Office offers this guide to parents to introduce the topics to their children. There is some graphic or intense content that discusses the nature and scope of human trafficking. As parents or other trusted adults who may present this guide to children, you know best which topics to present to your child/children, at what pace to go, and when to take a break or assess the need for self-care or more in-depth discussion.
