Multi-Disciplinary Teams and Resources in the Local Community

Community Connections – Building and Maintaining Relationships in Community

Be prepared to refer clients for other services they may need. To do this your clinic should engage community stakeholders

  • Reach out to anti-trafficking and other related organizations now - not just when services are needed.
  • Be pro-active: call, introduce yourself, find out about the services they provide; get names of other local service providers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community service providers.

Community Connections – Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) for Trafficking

Some communities have MDTs to help meet the needs of victims of trafficking. These teams take a case manager approach to addressing the needs of a victim. Services will be tailored to each individual and their needs.
